A paper by van Nieukerken et al (2018) describes that Antispila treitschkiella feeds on Cornelian Cherry (Cornus mas) with two distinct generations a year.

The Dogwood (Cornus sanguinea) feeding species formerly named Antispila treitschkiella is now named Antispila petryi. All our former Antispila treitschkiella records in Kent will need to be reassigned to that species.

Habitat: The larval foodplant, Cornelian Cherry, is planted widely as an ornamental, as such the mines are likely to be found in urban and suburban situations.
Flight Season: Leaf-mine: June to July, August to early November. A short gallery leading to blotch, larva cutting an oval case.
Foodplant: Cornelian Cherry (Cornus mas) only.
