Verification Grade (Adult):
First Kent record from Ashford, 11th June 2023.
This follows the first authenticated British record from Minsmere, Suffolk, in 2009 with two further Suffolk records the following year. Now has an established resident population in East Anglia.
It appears to be spreading and has now been confirmed from several other counties.
Verification Comment: A specimen and/or clear image will be required.
Foodplant: Larva feeds within fruit of Norway Maple, Field Maple and Sycamore.
