First confirmed UK record from Ashford in June 2024. Attracted to the TAB pheromone lure in the mid afternoon. A male confirmed by dissection. ""A second specimen was taken on the same date in Hythe, attracted to the API pheromone lure in the afternoon. """"A species which was first described in the late 1990’s and which has since spread rapidly in mainland Europe. """"Could be mistaken for a very small Nemapogon koenigi and some of its congeners.
