A highly variable species, with many different forms. Often mistaken for a micro moth. 

Habitat: Broad-leaved woodland, parks and gardens

Flight Season: Can be recorded in any month of the year. Overwinters as an adult and warm weather may bring it out of hibernation.

Foodplant: Sessile and Pedunculate Oak
