DistributionPhenologyReporting RatePhotos
Was considered lost to Kent until a specimen was seen in Ashford in May 2024, the first record for 50 years, with another seen in Sellindge in July. The Ashford specimen had originally been submitted to the Asian Hornet watch, being mistakenly identified as that species.
Grade 1 — adults are generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species, but records outside documented range or flight period may require photos.
