First recorded in Kent in late May 2023, a specimen taken at light near Folkestone. ""A very rare migrant(?) to the UK. Resembles a mini Oleander Hawk-moth, this species may previously only have arrived in the UK through imported goods at ports (Keyhaven and St Katherine's Dock the only two records).
Grade 1 — adults are generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species, but records outside documented range or flight period may require photos.
