Verification Grade (Adult):
Pretty well distributed across Kent, certain to turn up in woodland with a decent spread of Oak, but also feeds on Beech and has been observed at Shore Woods CP actively feeding on Sweet Chestnut.
Nothing on the British list to really confuse this species with.
Flight Season: Flies from late June, with numbers peaking in early/mid July
