A reasonably common moth which is distributed throughout Kent. Superficially similar to the Lutestrings, and maybe the similarly-named Figure of Eight, this species has a diagnostic '80' mark on the forewing.
Grade 1 — adults are generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species, but records outside documented range or flight period may require photos.
